Itinerary

Day 1 Arrival, Amman
Upon arrival at the airport, you will be transferred to your hotel in Amman. After assistance with check-in and information about nearby shops, cafés, and restaurants, you will have free time to explore the city on your own before the guided visits begin the following day. Meals: not included.
Day 2 Jerash and Amman
The day begins with a trip to nearby Jerash, home to one of the largest and best-preserved examples of Roman architecture outside Italy. Buried under sand for centuries, the city has been excavated and restored over the past 70 years, revealing an extraordinary example of Roman urban planning typical of the Middle East. In the afternoon, return to Amman to explore Jordan’s capital, known as the “White City” for its numerous limestone buildings. The visit includes the Citadel, with the Temple of Hercules, the Umayyad Palace, and the Byzantine Church, as well as the impressive Roman Theater. After visiting the main historical sites, enjoy the lively city center with a street food experience to taste some local specialties. Return to the hotel to relax before the evening activity, which includes a visit to the Wild Jordan Centre, an important hub for protecting Jordan’s natural heritage and supporting local communities. Alternatively, guests may choose to spend the evening at the hotel. Meals: breakfast included (lunch and dinner not included).
Day 3 Madaba, Mount Nebo, Shobak Castle, and Petra
Leave Amman behind and travel along the scenic King’s Highway toward Petra. The journey itself is fascinating, passing through deep wadis, olive groves, and remote rural villages, offering an authentic glimpse into local life. First stop: Madaba, to visit the Greek Orthodox Church of St. George. Continue to Mount Nebo, a historically and religiously significant viewpoint with spectacular views of the Jordan Valley and the Holy Land. Travel through the stunning Wadi al-Mujib canyon to reach Shobak Castle, an extraordinary Crusader fortress perched on a mountain ridge. Arrive in Petra and check in at your hotel. The evening is free, with two optional activities: experience “Petra by Candlelight,” walking through the Siq to the iconic Treasury illuminated by hundreds of candles, or join a cooking class at the renowned Petra Kitchen to learn traditional Jordanian cuisine. Advance booking is required for Petra Kitchen as it is very popular and space is limited. Meals: breakfast included (lunch and dinner not included).
Day 4 Petra and Wadi Rum
Today is dedicated to exploring the Nabatean site of Petra, with a guided tour followed by free time to explore on your own. Petra lies at the edge of the Wadi Araba desert, protected by towering rock walls, accessible only through a narrow gorge called the Siq, leading to the Treasury. Beyond, the valley opens to reveal numerous rock-cut tombs, the Roman amphitheater, and sections of ancient colonnaded streets. Optional hikes include the steep climb to the Monastery, offering panoramic views of the Wadi Araba and Jordan Valley, or routes to the High Place of Sacrifice and the Lion’s Fountain. In the late afternoon, depart Petra for the spectacular desert landscapes of Wadi Rum. Optional activities include camel rides among the dunes, a hot air balloon ride at sunrise (weather permitting), or an adventurous quad biking excursion. Arrive at the camp, hosted by Bedouins in a comfortable setting amid imposing rocks. Evening at leisure with a traditional Jordanian dinner. Stargazing experiences are also available, taking advantage of Wadi Rum’s clear skies to observe stars, constellations, and planets. Meals: breakfast and dinner included (lunch not included).
Day 5 Wadi Rum and Dead Sea
Start the day exploring Wadi Rum’s desert landscapes with a jeep safari to discover cliffs, vertical walls, and unique rock formations shaped by wind and time. In late morning, head north to the Dead Sea, one of the world’s most extraordinary natural and spiritual landscapes. Not only is it the lowest point on Earth, around 400 meters below sea level, but it is also rich in natural wonders. Check in at your hotel located directly on the shores of the Dead Sea. The afternoon and following morning are free to fully enjoy this unique location: float in its salty waters, indulge in therapeutic Dead Sea mud treatments, or relax at the hotel spa. For adventure lovers, an optional excursion is available during the summer months (weather and local conditions permitting) to the nearby Wadi Mujib Nature Reserve, navigating narrow, water-rich canyons. Meals: breakfast included (lunch and dinner not included).
Day 6 Departure, Dead Sea
The day is free at the Dead Sea before your departure flight. Alternatively, you may choose to join one of several optional excursions, such as a full-day tour to the Baptism Site of Bethany and Ajloun Castle, visits to Pella and Umm Qais, or a journey exploring the scenic Desert Castles. Meals: breakfast included (lunch and dinner not included).
