This captivating journey through Jordan and Egypt allows you to explore important archaeological sites and vibrant markets, alternating with moments of relaxation in unique landscapes. Starting from Amman, you will visit the Roman treasures of Jerash, the Nebo Mountain, and the iconic Petra. You will also spend a night under the stars among the dunes of Wadi Rum before reaching the Dead Sea. In Egypt, majestic historical sites await, including the Pyramids and the Sphinx of Giza, as well as the temples of Luxor. Here you can enjoy further unforgettable experiences, spending the night in a Nubian guesthouse or aboard a felucca slowly sailing along the Nile.

Itinerary

Day 1 Arrival, Amman (Jordan)
Arrive in Amman and transfer to your hotel. The rest of the day is at leisure to explore the city or relax at the hotel. Meals: not included.
Day 2 Jerash and Amman
Start the day with a visit to Jerash, one of the best-preserved examples of Roman architecture outside Italy. In the afternoon, return to Amman to explore the city’s historical sites, including the famous Roman Theater. Then head to Downtown Amman to sample a variety of local street food. In the evening, choose to relax at the hotel or visit the Wild Jordan Centre, a tourist hub supporting local communities and promoting sustainability. Meals: breakfast included (lunch and dinner not included).
Day 3 King's Highway and Petra
Drive along the scenic King’s Highway towards Petra. Stop along the way to see the mosaics of Madaba, enjoy panoramic views from Mount Nebo, and visit Shobak Castle. After checking in at your hotel in Petra, optional activities include visiting Petra by candlelight or joining a Jordanian cooking class. Meals: breakfast included (lunch and dinner not included).
Day 4 Petra and Wadi Rum
Spend the day exploring the stunning Nabatean city of Petra with a guided tour and free time to explore independently. In the afternoon, drive to Wadi Rum desert and check into a Bedouin camp. Optional activities include a camel ride among the dunes, a hot air balloon flight, an adventurous desert quad tour, and stargazing after sunset. Meals: breakfast and dinner included (lunch not included)
Day 5 Wadi Rum and Dead Sea
Morning jeep safari across the spectacular Wadi Rum dunes, then transfer to the Dead Sea. After hotel check-in, relax with spa treatments, experience the Dead Sea mud, or float in the salty waters. Adventurous guests may opt for an excursion to Wadi Mujib Nature Reserve. Meals: breakfast included (lunch and dinner not included).
Day 6 Cairo (Egypt)
Transfer to the airport for your flight to Cairo. Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel and enjoy free time to start exploring the city. Optional activity: dinner cruise on the Nile. Meals: breakfast included (lunch and dinner not included).
Day 7 Cairo and Giza
Visit the renowned Egyptian Museum, the iconic Pyramids of Giza, and the Sphinx. Enjoy a traditional koshary lunch. Overnight on the train to Aswan (flight option available). Meals: breakfast and lunch included (dinner not included).
Day 8 Aswan
Explore the magnificent Philae Temples and visit a traditional Nubian village to meet locals and learn about their ancient culture. Meals: breakfast included (lunch and dinner not included)
Day 9 Nile River
Optional morning visit to the UNESCO site of Abu Simbel, famous for Ramses II’s rock-cut temples. Around noon, begin a relaxing felucca sail along the Nile until the next morning. Overnight at a Nubian village is optional. Meals: breakfast, lunch, and dinner included.
Day 10 Edfu and Luxor
After breakfast on board the felucca, transfer to Edfu to see the impressive Temple of Horus. Continue to Luxor, an open-air museum you may explore on an optional evening guided tour or on your own in the city center. Meals: breakfast and lunch included (dinner not included)
Day 11 Luxor
Full day exploring Luxor’s historical sites. Optional sunrise hot air balloon ride over the valley. Visit the Valley of the Kings, Deir el-Medina village, Queen Hatshepsut’s Temple, and the Colossi of Memnon. Afternoon at leisure or optional tour of Karnak Temple complex. Overnight train back to Cairo (flight option available). Meals: breakfast included (lunch and dinner not included).
Day 12 Cairo
Spend the day exploring Cairo independently or join optional excursions, such as a city tour including Coptic Cairo, the Citadel, and Mohamed Ali Mosque, or a half-day trip to Saqqara, Dahshur, and Memphis. Another option is a desert excursion to Wadi Rayan and the UNESCO Whale Valley. Alternatively, enjoy a guided walk through the streets and bazaars of downtown Cairo. Meals: breakfast included (lunch and dinner not included).
Day 13 Departure, Il Cairo
The tour ends in Cairo. Optional free time in the city before transfer to the airport. Meals: breakfast included (lunch and dinner not included).
