Itinerary

Day 1 Arrival, Oslo
Arrival in Oslo and independent transfer to the hotel. Dinner at leisure and overnight stay.
Day 2 Oslo and Hallingdal
Breakfast at the hotel and meeting with your tour leader. Together with a local Italian-speaking guide, enjoy a 3-hour guided tour of the Norwegian capital, visiting highlights such as the City Hall, Frogner Park (also known as Vigeland Park), the striking Opera House, the Royal Palace and the main pedestrian streets of the city centre. Free lunch and departure northwards. In the afternoon, travel through the Hallingdal Valley to your hotel. Dinner and overnight stay.
Day 3 From Hallingdal to Bergen
After breakfast, depart to explore one of the country’s most beautiful landscapes: the Sognefjord, also known as the “King of Fjords.” First stop at the impressive Borgund Stave Church, dating back nearly eight centuries. Continue to the village of Gudvangen, set on the shores of the fjord. Board a modern ferry to cross the Aurlandfjord and the UNESCO-listed Nærøyfjord, arriving in Flåm. Here, take the famous Flåm Railway, climbing 865 metres from the fjord to the mountain station of Myrdal, winding through dramatic scenery. Continue by train to Voss, where a bus will take you to Bergen. Arrival at the hotel, dinner at leisure and overnight stay.
Day 4 From Bergen to Haugesund
Breakfast and morning guided tour of Bergen, including the historic Bryggen district (UNESCO World Heritage Site) with its colourful wooden houses, and the lively fish market. View from the outside Bergenhus Fortress, Rosenkrantz Tower and St. John’s Church. In the afternoon, depart south along the scenic Norwegian coastline, dotted with fjords, islands and small villages. Ferry crossing from Halhjem to Sandvikvåg and passage through the Bømlafjord subsea tunnel. Arrival in the Haugesund area, with a stop at Krosshaugen, one of the 60 ancient stone crosses in Rogaland. Dinner and overnight stay.
Day 5 Stavanger
Breakfast and departure for Stavanger, including a ferry crossing from Arsvågen to Mortavika. Upon arrival, enjoy a fjord cruise on the Lysefjord, passing spectacular sights such as the Fantahålå Cave, Hengjanefossen waterfall and the iconic Preikestolen (Pulpit Rock), rising 604 metres above the fjord. In the afternoon, free time to explore Gamle Stavanger, the charming old town with its white wooden houses and cobbled streets. Dinner at leisure and overnight stay.
Day 6 Kristiansand
Breakfast and departure for Kristiansand, with a short stop in the coastal town of Flekkefjord, also known as the Dutch Quarter (Hollenderbyen). Continue to the charming town of Mandal, birthplace of sculptor Gustav Vigeland. Arrival in Kristiansand, southern Norway. Free time to explore the city, including the historic Posebyen district, Bystranda beach or Markens Gate, the main pedestrian street. Overnight stay.
Day 7 Telemark and Oslo
After breakfast, depart east towards the Telemark region, home to the famous Telemark Canal, known for its impressive lock system that allows boats to overcome a 72-metre elevation difference. Mid-morning arrival in Lunde, where one of the canal’s locks is located. Board a boat to cruise a section of the canal to Ulefoss. In the afternoon, continue to Oslo. Overnight stay.
Day 8 Departure, Oslo
Breakfast at the hotel and independent transfer to the airport.
