Itinerary

Day 1 Arrival, Windhoek
Arrival in Windhoek, transfer to the hotel, and meeting with the guide for a pre-departure briefing. Meals: not included.
Days 2 and 3 Sossusvlei and Sesriem
In the morning, depart south towards the edge of the Namib Desert, where you will stay in a mobile tented camp. The next morning, depart for Sossusvlei to admire the desert dunes at sunrise. A 5 km walk will take you to Deadvlei, and in the afternoon you will explore Sesriem Canyon on foot. Overnight in a mobile tented camp. Meals: breakfast and dinner (lunch not included).
Day 4 Swakopmund
Depart for Walvis Bay, where you can spot various flamingos. Arrival in Swakopmund in the afternoon, with free time to explore the town or take an optional scenic flight. Overnight in a hotel. Meals: breakfast (lunch and dinner not included).
Day 5 Spitzkoppe
Morning free to explore the surroundings or join an optional excursion. After lunch, depart north to Spitzkoppe. Enjoy an afternoon walk around the area before spending the night in a tented camp under the stars of the southern hemisphere. Meals: breakfast and dinner (lunch not included).
Day 6 Twyfelfontein
Depart for the Damaraland region, a land of contrasts with mountain ranges, wide gravel or sand plains, dry riverbeds, and patches of vegetation. Arrival in Twyfelfontein, where a one-hour walking tour is planned to discover the ancient San rock paintings. Overnight in a mobile tented camp. Meals: breakfast and dinner (lunch not included).
Day 7 Epupa Falls
Continue to Opuwo. In this area, the semi-nomadic Himba tribe live in scattered settlements. Meet a Himba guide for a village visit and learn about the fascinating culture of this people. Overnight in a mobile tented camp. Meals: breakfast and dinner (lunch not included).
Day 8 Opuwo
Morning free to visit the Epupa Falls, still largely untouched due to their remote location. After lunch, transfer to Opuwo town. Overnight in a mobile tented camp. Meals: breakfast and dinner (lunch not included).
Days 9 and 10 Etosha National Park
After breakfast, depart for Etosha National Park for the first photosafari aboard the truck. This park is one of Africa’s most important wildlife sanctuaries, home to thousands of animals such as blue wildebeests, impalas, zebras, kudus, giraffes, cheetahs, leopards, lions, and elephants. The following day is also dedicated to photosafaris aboard the truck. Overnight in lodge or mobile tented camp. Meals: breakfast and dinner (lunch not included).
Day 11 Etosha National Park
Explore Etosha National Park via the spectacular Etosha Pan, a vast salt pan. Overnight in lodge or mobile tented camp. Meals: breakfast and dinner (lunch not included).
Day 12 Windhoek
Final photo safari in Etosha National Park aboard the truck. Depart for Windhoek, with a stop at the Okahandja craft market along the way. Overnight in a hotel. Meals: breakfast (lunch and dinner not included).
Day 13 Departure, Windhoek
After breakfast, transfer to the airport and end of the journey. Meals: breakfast (lunch and dinner not included).

Includes

Guided tour with an Italian-speaking guide, accommodation in lodges, hotels, and camps, meal plan* and activities as per itinerary, transfers aboard the Kiboko Overland vehicle, airport transfers. * During travel days aboard the overland vehicle, meals are organized and prepared by the group, while at other stops meals are generally taken at local restaurants.
