On this trip, you will explore the ancient and labyrinthine medina of Marrakech, the extraordinary landscapes of the Atlas Mountains, and the incredible Sahara Desert. The tour is designed for families with children aged 5 to 16 and is perfectly suitable for younger kids as well, with shorter transfer times and the possibility to alternate between moments of discovery and moments of relaxation by the pool.

Itinerary

Day 1 Arrival, Marrakech
Arrival in Marrakech and transfer to the hotel. Day at leisure to explore the city or relax at the hotel, followed by an evening pre-departure meeting with the group. Meals: Dinner (breakfast and lunch not included)
Day 2 Valley of the Roses and Ait Benhaddou
The day begins with a visit to the Valley of the Roses, famous for its fragrant flowers. You will then cross the Atlas Mountains to reach the village of Ait Benhaddou. A guided tour will take you through this UNESCO site, which has been a location for several films and TV series. Meals: Breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
Day 3 N'Kob
Crossing breathtaking landscapes of valleys, gorges, and fortified villages, you will reach the oasis of N'Kob. Here, you will discover the lifestyle of the Ait Atta nomads and can take part in an optional Moroccan cooking class. Meals: Breakfast and dinner (lunch not included).
Day 4 Sahara Desert
Traveling through the Draa Valley, famous for its date palms, you will arrive in the Sahara Desert. Ride camels across this unique landscape to reach the camp where you will spend the night. In the evening, enjoy a dinner with local dishes and entertainment under the stars. Meals: Breakfast, lunch, and dinner
Day 5 Todra Gorges
The journey continues to Morocco’s “canyon”: the spectacular Todra Gorges. During the day, you can explore the site independently, relax at the hotel pool, or try rock climbing (only for those over 16). Meals: Breakfast and dinner (lunch not included)
Day 6 Ouarzazate
After a free morning to further explore the gorges, have lunch in a Berber community involved in carpet-making and learn more about their craft. Continue to Ouarzazate. In the afternoon, an optional tour of the local studios used in several international films is available. Meals: Breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
Day 7 Marrakech
The journey back to Marrakech begins through the Atlas Mountains. In the evening, enjoy a typical dinner in the vibrant Djemâa-el-Fna square. Meals: Breakfast and dinner (lunch not included).
Day 8 Marrakech
In the morning, you can join an optional city tour, followed by free time to explore the winding streets, lively souks, and panoramic cafés. You can choose to end the day relaxing at the hotel pool or experiencing a traditional hammam. Meals: Breakfast (lunch and dinner not included).
Day 9 Departure, Marrakech
The trip ends after breakfast, but those who wish can enjoy some free time in the city before transferring to the airport. Meals: Breakfast (lunch and dinner not included)

Includes

Guided tour with an English-speaking guide, accommodation in 3/4-star hotels and camps, meal plan, activities and transfers as per the itinerary, and airport transfer on Day 1.

Does Not Include
