Itinerary

Day 1 Arrival, Delhi
Arrival in Delhi, transfer to the hotel. You will be briefed on the itinerary for the following days and given useful local information. Meals: not included.
Day 2 Delhi
The day begins with a tour of New Delhi, where ancient and modern blend harmoniously. You will visit India Gate, pass several government buildings, Humayun’s Tomb (a UNESCO World Heritage Site), and the Sikh temple Gurdwara Bangla Sahib. Then, head to Old Delhi to explore Chandni Chowk, one of the city’s oldest and busiest markets, and nearby Chawri Bazar, known for its brass and copper crafts. Sample some Indian street food before taking a rickshaw to Jama Masjid, one of the largest mosques in the country. The day ends with a night train journey on the Reunification Express to Udaipur. Meals: breakfast included (lunch and dinner not included).
Day 3 Agra
Travel continues to Agra, home of the iconic Taj Mahal. Upon arrival, enjoy lunch at Sheroes Hangout Café, a social enterprise run by women survivors of violence. After hotel check-in, take a guided tour of Mughal heritage in the village of Kachhpura and surrounding countryside, organized by a local community initiative. The day concludes with a stroll through Mehtab Bagh gardens to admire the Taj Mahal at sunset. Optional evening activity: cooking class and vegetarian Thali dinner with a local Hindu family. Meals: breakfast and lunch included (dinner not included).
Day 4 Taj Mahal and Suroth
Early morning is ideal for visiting the Taj Mahal at sunrise. After breakfast, head into rural Rajasthan to the small village of Suroth. Explore the area, interact with locals, visit shops and a small temple, and optionally enjoy a barber visit or head massage. The evening ends with a cooking demonstration and dinner at the hotel restaurant. Meals: breakfast and dinner included (lunch not included).
Day 5 Jaipur
Travel to Jaipur, the capital of Rajasthan in western India. Stop en route at Chand Baori, the largest and deepest stepwell in the world. The rest of the day in Jaipur is free for exploration or optional activities: attend a Bollywood film at Raj Mandir cinema or join a local family for a cooking demonstration and dinner. Meals: breakfast included (lunch and dinner not included).
Day 6 Amber Fort and Jaipur
Optional sunrise hot air balloon flight over Jaipur, soaring over palaces and forts. Alternatively, begin the day visiting the majestic Amber Fort on the hill. Back in the city, explore Jantar Mantar (astronomical instruments) and Jaipur City Palace with its courtyards, gardens, and royal chambers. Afternoon dedicated to handicrafts, including fabric printing and gemstone work in markets and workshops. Meals: breakfast included (lunch and dinner not included).
Day 7 Ranthambore National Park
Depart Jaipur for Ranthambore National Park, ideal for spotting tigers in the wild. Afternoon safari in jeeps provides your first chance to see the park’s wildlife. Meals: breakfast and dinner included (lunch not included).
Day 8 Ranthambore National Park
Early morning safari to spot species such as tigers, leopards, sloth bears, antelopes, flying foxes, Indian porcupines, striped hyenas, jackals, jungle cats, wild boars, owls, desert cats, and macaques. Visit the park’s fortress, perched atop a natural 200-meter elevation (UNESCO site). Afternoon free for relaxation or additional optional safaris. Meals: breakfast, lunch, and dinner included.
Day 9 Delhi
Return to Delhi by train, passing through scenic countryside and bustling towns. Upon arrival, transfer to the hotel with free time in the afternoon. Optional visit to Swaminarayan Akshardham Temple is available. Meals: breakfast included (lunch and dinner not included).
Day 10 Departure, Delhi
Tour ends in Delhi, with optional half-day excursions available for those who wish to explore the city further before transfer to the airport. Meals: breakfast included (lunch and dinner not included).

Guided tour with an English-speaking guide as per itinerary, accommodation in 3–4 star hotels and heritage properties, meal plan as indicated, activities and transfers as per itinerary, transfers to/from the airport.
