Itinerary

Day 1 Arrival, Malé

Upon arrival at Malé Airport, you will be welcomed by a representative and transferred to Hulhumale, just 15 minutes away. You can settle in and take your first steps on the sands of this tropical paradise. The beach is only a 3-minute walk away, and nearby you will find several local cafés and restaurants, as well as a water sports center. Meals: not included

Day 2 Malé and Goidhoo

The day starts with a guided walking tour exploring the history and culture of Malé. You will visit Hukuru Miskiy (Friday Mosque), the main historical sites, and immerse yourself in the sights, sounds, and scents of the lively local markets. After lunch, a scenic two-hour speedboat transfer will take you to Goidhoo. This enchanting island offers a glimpse of traditional Maldivian life, lush mangroves, a beautiful beach, and several local farms. After checking in at your hotel, relax at a local café and try the Hedhikaa, a delightful tradition of miniature sweet and savory snacks served with black tea. The day ends with a tranquil sunset swim on the island’s picturesque beach. Meals: breakfast and dinner (lunch not included)

Day 3 Goidhoo

In the morning, enjoy your first snorkeling adventure, immersing yourself in the incredible underwater beauty of the Maldives. Tropical fish and other marine life hidden among the corals will unfold before your eyes. The afternoon is dedicated to exploring Goidhoo Island. Meals: breakfast and dinner (lunch not included)

Day 4 Goidhoo

Start the day kayaking through one of the island’s mangrove lakes. As you navigate the channels, your guide will share insights about the delicate balance between mangroves, the surrounding marine ecosystem, and local communities, highlighting the crucial role everyone plays in conserving these precious habitats and protecting the natural wonders of the Maldives. The afternoon is free to relax on the beach or choose from optional activities and water sports. After dinner, the guide will present the work of the Olive Ridley Project, preparing you for the turtle snorkeling experience the following day. Meals: breakfast and dinner (lunch not included)

Day 5 Fulhadhoo

Take a morning ferry to Fulhadhoo. After checking in, head out on a speedboat for a snorkeling adventure with turtles. The coral reefs are teeming with colorful fish and various marine life—keep an eye out for sharks and rays as well. Fulhadhoo is considered one of the most beautiful islands in Baa Atoll. In the late afternoon, take a walk through the tropical forest to the island’s beach, recognized as one of the 25 most beautiful in the world, and enjoy the sunset. Meals: breakfast and dinner (lunch not included)

Day 6 Fulhadhoo

Start the day visiting the Women’s Development Committee (WDC), a key organization for local women. Under their guidance, participate in preparing a traditional Maldivian breakfast, learning to cook dishes like mashuni and roshi, and then enjoy the meal together. After lunch, visit Fulhadhoo’s coral nursery to learn about the project and understand the importance of coral rehabilitation in the Maldives. In the evening, the guide will present the work of the Manta Trust, preparing you for the next day’s snorkeling excursion, where, if conditions allow, you may be lucky enough to spot a manta ray. Meals: breakfast and dinner (lunch not included)

Day 7 Fulhadhoo

After breakfast, make the most of the area’s stunning coral reefs with another opportunity to explore vibrant marine life. While sightings are not guaranteed, you may be fortunate to encounter manta rays. In the afternoon, give back to the community by participating in an island cleanup, an important reminder of responsible tourism and environmental conservation. End the day with a refreshing swim in the ocean. Meals: breakfast and dinner (lunch not included)

Day 8 Departure, Malé

After breakfast, check out and take the speedboat back to Malé, arriving at the airport where your journey ends. If your flight departs later in the day and you wish to avoid spending too much time at the airport, day-use rooms, daily packages, a half-day optional tour to Vilimale, and other optional snorkeling or water activities are available. Meals: breakfast (lunch and dinner not included)
